there is no girl buried in the basement. The tornado did little damage to Stone Mansion. The first floor was a restaurant for many years, the 2nd and third floor were apartments. The wallpaper is not original. This company that bought the mansion tries to fabricate stories to draw ghost hunters in and make a profit. Same thing with the Randolph County Infirmary, Hartford City Hell House or whatever.. they are trying to buy a church in Lynn, IN that Jim Jones went to . They are going to try to turn it into another "haunted" attraction.

My brother was a weaver for Longaberger. Owned a house on Main St in Dresden. Many good memories.

At 00:35 seconds, that little log cabin and that long shed is where my grandparents and great grandparents lived from 2003 to 2016. So many memories in that log cabin, the creek a little behind it is where I spent all of my childhood. Went on many walks on the trail with my cousins when they lived there and I remember you could see the mansion through the trees and always being told someone famous lived there. Also remember a time we did a haunted hayride and they took us to the mansion while it was still in use

I still have my collection and enjoyed several bus trips to Dresden with my sister, mom, and MIL. It was so sad to see the daughters more interrsted in their expense account than running the business. It was such a lovely place to visit and now it is looking so sad. The saddest part is remembering the awesome basket weavers I met on those trips and how they all lost their jobs so suddenly.

I remember when they were at their height in sales I never could afford the baskets that were iconic at the time. But whenever I find one at a rummage sale or goodwill I snap them all up. It seems as though the website is active and they are selling items I have yet to attempt to truly purchase something but there's several things in my basket right now
